Dr. Skowron Romano published her first children’s book! This book about a girl named Julia and her dog Charlie teaches an important lesson about how to address worry. “The Worry Bug” discusses diaphragmatic breathing, highlights emotional awareness, promotes distress tolerance, and introduces a simple phrase that children can utilize in their day to day lives: “Worry bug, worry bug it’s all okay”. Being able to identify and sit with emotions are an important skills for everyone.
